Hello, I've been away for a few days as I've had lots of revision to do for exams, but now they are over for this term I can relax! I would like to share some snaps with you today from a beautiful day, I love looking at photos for inspiration and some of the photos are from my birthday and many are of beautiful things that I love and want to share with you, many of which are snaps of little things from around my room which inspire me from day to day.
This is part of my growing vintage camera collection which I've used to decorate my room with posters and printed cards I've collected.
I love decorating with flowers in pretty vases and using art. I also used the idea of adding lots of bobbins to add colour and character.
This was a drawing given to me by my lovely friend Lily, of me in my Alice in wonderland costume. Isn't she talented! I'm hoping to frame it soon!
For my party I added decoration to the furniture to give a pretty and vintage theme. Using lace and clipping art to lampshades is just one way of jazzing something up. Below I used doilies and patterned cushion to add character to the bare chairs.
There are many ways of making a day beautiful and one way to do this is to surround yourself with beautiful things, if the weather was good though that would also be a bonus!!
