Hello, It's been a few days since I've posted and in those few days I've had a lovely birthday party. I've had fun making things for it and I have tried to capture as much pictures as possible! So today I want to share with how I created two cute garlands for my party. One for the sweet shop and for my photo booth props.1: Scalloped GarlandMaterials: Patterned paper / String / letter templates / scissors / Punch Hole/ glue / pins1. For 'Sweet shop' Print out the letters from Microsoft in a font of your choice. Then size them, I used 250. 2. Create a scalloped template by drawing a square and rounding the ends shown above and cut out. Then with pretty paper cut out a scalloped shape for each letter. 3. Pin the letter templates to glitter paper and cut them out. 4. Stick to scalloped shapes. 5. Punch 2 holes in the top of each shape. 6. Cut a piece of string big enough to hold all shapes. Then in order thread them onto the string tying a knot at the beginning and end of the word. 2: Vintage Music Note GarlandMaterials: Music note paper / string / sticky foam letters / strong glue / card / scissors1. For 'photobooth' cut out 10 card rectangles and 10 music paper rectangles slightly bigger than the card rectangles. 2. Stick the music paper to the card. Cut a piece of string long enough to hold 10 cards with space. 3. Stick foam letter stickers to the cards. 4. With strong glue, glue the cards to the string like above in order.I hope you've enjoyed these tutorials and I will look forward to sharing with you photos from my birthday soon. I'm very excited to share with you some lovely recipes/tutorials from my party such as a fruit Summer punch and lots more surprises. Have a wonderful day. Becky ox
