What I love about this time of year is the weather, you can dress up in dresses and pretty things, I can hang out with my best friend and drink cold milkshakes, have long light days to sew and create and see the beautiful flowers that thrive in this type of weather. This is what I LOVE!On Friday I, Mum and Dad visited hall place, a garden and plant nursery. They have almost every type of plant that exists and beautiful settings to grow them in. The sun was a blessing and the temperature was just right so it was lovely to walk around. They even have a herb garden and mini gardens which each have a different atmosphere and look. Why not look at some photos of my day! What's In My Bag?As we walked around mum tried to teach me the names of plants. I can remember Iris which are the purple-blue flowers up above and foxgloves which are purple. But many flowers have very long peculiar names so I could only remember these 2.I loved this little bench as you were safe from the sun and it looked out to many beautiful flowers. I brought my film camera with me too! As we got to the other side of the garden they had the most fascinating topiary statues in all different characters. It reminded me of when we used to come here when I was little and we loved running around them and playing hide and seek.I love doors like these which are rusty and old as they remind me of secret gardens and Alice In Wonderland. I love the feeling of magicalness. This is the Wisteria Bridge. Once we had walked through the herb garden, down the steps to a little garden where my cousin used to love riding his little bike when he was little. We then walked up some steps and with a stride we arrived to this beautiful bridge. Covered in purple wisteria and smelt sweet by the expression on mum's face, it gave me this very name for my post. Isn't in lovely?!By the river were ducks which with a glance looked like elegant statues. With beautiful feathers and shades of colours. As I came closer to this little bird she sat as still as a rock. I had to capture her beauty and I have one thing to say 'Thankyou for sitting so still, you are very photogenic Mrs.Duck'.Thank you for reading! I hope you've enjoyed the insight to my visit to Hall place and the Wisteria Bridge. I have a whole lot to plan for my birthday and I'm so happy with my Alice costume. I'm making part of it myself! I'll share all the gossip soon! Much Love, Becky x
