Knitting :: With Julie!

I love knitting but have never been properly taught how to knit. So I jumped at the chance when I visited my auntie in Suffolk. We woke up Friday morning and decided let's do some knitting today. I am no wiz at knitting but from what I learnt I think I did pretty well. Julie, 'that's my aunt's name if you haven't guessed', taught me how to do the basic knit as well as the purl knit and I finally learnt how to do several lines without having random holes where I'd forgot to knit one of the loops.I love the whole concept of knitting and like a kitty cat I love balls of wool, I never knew you could get so many types of wool!This is my aunt { this was the only picture I could get of her} and as you can probably see she is a champion at knitting! She knitted so fast I could barely see her hands moving. So I do hope one day I can knit as good as her.{I love this photo as it's so light and cute}My only knitting sticks are big fat ones as you can see up above and as I have an obsession with moustaches, when no one was looking I pretended I had a woolly moustache {that would be so cool} and snap a few photos of myself.So there's an insight into my knitting adventures! Maybe one day I'll be able to knit a jumper, maybe that could be on my list of resolutions for 2013? He he, I'm so happy I can get back to blogging now as I had no working laptop and I literally can't wait to share all my other adventures with you! I love wool...Peace xo.
